Crossplay status

Crossplay is confirmed across all announced launch platforms:

• PlayStation 5.
• Xbox Series X|S.
• Steam.
• Epic Games Store.

IllFonic states this directly in its official developer Q&A. The Xbox store also labels the game for Xbox cross-platform multiplayer and co-op.

Playing with friends across platforms

An in-game friends list is confirmed. That is the account-level tool intended to help players form groups beyond a single console or PC storefront.

IllFonic also says a pre-made party should remain together in matchmaking. Exact friend codes, invitations, account linking, and privacy options have not been published.

Crossplay is not cross-progression

Crossplay lets people on different platforms enter the same multiplayer session. Cross-progression moves profile levels, unlocks, purchases, or challenge progress between platform accounts.

IllFonic confirms the first and says it does not currently have plans for the second.

Console-only matchmaking

Players have asked whether PlayStation and Xbox users can match together while excluding PC. Official sources do not confirm a console-only filter.

Do not infer the setting from the broader “all platforms” statement. Crossplay availability and granular matchmaking filters are separate features.

Nintendo Switch questions

No Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version is currently announced. The phrase “crossplay on all platforms” refers to announced game platforms, not hardware without a confirmed version.

If a Nintendo version is announced later, its multiplayer compatibility will need its own official confirmation.

Private matches

Private matches support up to five players. Crossplay and the in-game friends list are confirmed alongside this multiplayer feature set.

The developer also allows duplicate Civilian picks, so a mixed-platform group does not need to negotiate a unique character for every player.

IllFonic has not detailed the friend invitation flow, required publisher accounts, crossplay defaults, platform icons, voice-chat behavior, privacy settings, connection recovery, or opt-out filters.
