Official PC requirements

The current Steam page provides minimum and recommended PC specifications. These values were last checked on August 31, 2026 and may change with release patches.

Understanding the CPU lines

Steam lists socket and platform generations rather than a specific processor model:

  • Minimum: Intel LGA 1200 or newer, AMD AM4 or newer.
  • Recommended: Intel LGA 1700 or newer, AMD AM5 or newer.

Those entries do not establish an exact core count, clock speed, or one-to-one model comparison. A CPU using the named platform can still vary substantially in performance.

Understanding the GPU targets

The minimum GPU line lists GTX 1660, RX 590, and Arc A770 as generation or model thresholds alongside a 1080p at 30 FPS target.

The recommended line lists RTX 3000 series and RX 7000 series for 4K at 30 FPS. Steam does not specify ray tracing, upscaling, high settings, or ultra settings for either target.

Do not treat a video author’s preset estimate as an official requirement.

Memory and storage

Minimum memory is 16 GB RAM. Recommended memory is 32 GB RAM.

The game requires 45 GB of available space and an SSD or NVMe drive. A mechanical hard drive is not listed as a supported minimum storage target.

Allow additional free space for platform updates, shader caches, and patches even though Steam’s current game allocation is 45 GB.

Windows 10, macOS, and Linux

Steam currently lists Windows 11 64-bit. It does not promise Windows 10 compatibility.

No native macOS or Linux requirements are published. Compatibility layers or community tests after release should be labeled separately from native support.

Online connection

Both tiers require a broadband internet connection. That is expected for 1v4 multiplayer, crossplay, friends, and progression services.

The six-chapter story is a standalone single-player experience, but the store requirement does not clarify whether every story function works fully offline. Offline-mode claims need direct launch testing.

Before buying on PC

  1. Confirm Windows 11 64-bit and DirectX 12 support.
  2. Compare the actual CPU model, not only its socket name.
  3. Confirm at least 16 GB RAM.
  4. Install on an SSD or NVMe drive with more than 45 GB free.
  5. Set expectations around the published 30 FPS targets.

The recommended list targets resolution, not a guaranteed frame rate at every setting. Performance guides will be added after reproducible benchmarks on the release build.
