Halloween: The Game is an asymmetrical horror sandbox set in Haddonfield on Halloween night, 1978. It combines a standalone Michael Myers campaign with online matches between one Michael and four Civilians.
Civilians warn residents, use phones, gather key items and weapons, and prepare randomized escapes while Michael hunts the town through Stalk, Killer Sense, and Shape Jump. Official systems are documented here separately from community interpretation and pre-release unknowns.

Is Halloween: The Game single-player or multiplayer?
It includes both. Single-player follows Michael through six story chapters, while online multiplayer pits one Michael player against four Civilian players in Haddonfield.
Does Halloween: The Game support crossplay?
Yes. Crossplay is confirmed across the announced PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store versions. Cross-progression is not currently planned.
Can the Civilians kill Michael Myers?
No. Civilians can knock Michael down and may detain him with the right authority figure and conditions, but official material says he cannot be killed.
