Announced for October 27
Halloween 5 Michael and Halloween (2018) Michael are separate paid skins announced at $9.99 USD each. They are not live as of October 11. New abilities and inclusion in Digital Deluxe are not confirmed. See the October content guide for the free map and separate paid packs.
Confirmed Michael Myers cosmetics
The public pre-release material names four Michael Myers skins beyond the standard appearance. Availability differs by edition and purchase timing.
| Skin | Access | Permanent exclusivity |
|---|---|---|
| Phantom Michael Myers | Digital pre-order bonus | Yes, described as pre-order exclusive |
| Inmate Michael Myers | Digital Deluxe Edition | Digital Deluxe exclusive |
| Clown Michael Myers | Advance access with Physical Standard and Collector’s Editions | No, earnable through challenges |
| Samhain Michael Myers | Advance access with Physical Collector’s Edition | No, earnable through challenges |
Meaning of advance access: The physical-edition owner receives the cosmetic immediately. IllFonic says players without that edition can still earn it by completing in-game challenges.
Phantom Michael Myers
Phantom Michael was included with digital pre-orders for both Standard and Deluxe editions. IllFonic said it would not be sold after the pre-order period.
That wording makes Phantom different from a normal early unlock. Players who bought the game after release should not assume the skin will enter the challenge pool or store later.
Inmate Michael Myers
Inmate Michael is part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. It reflects the Smith’s Grove side of Michael’s story and is listed as an exclusive skin in the digital package.
Digital Deluxe also includes Richard and Alexis as playable Civilians and advance access to a Final Girl Laurie Strode cosmetic. Phantom Michael was included for customers who pre-ordered. The edition’s four-day early-access period began September 4, 2026 at 9 AM PT.
Clown Michael Myers
The Physical Standard and limited Collector’s Editions include advance access to the Clown skin. Both launch October 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The key word is advance. Players using other editions can earn Clown Michael by completing its associated in-game challenges.
Samhain Michael Myers
The limited Physical Collector’s Edition includes the Standard Edition content, then adds advance access to Samhain Michael and four Civilian cosmetics. As with Clown Michael, Samhain is an immediate unlock for the physical package rather than a permanent physical exclusive.
Collector’s Edition availability depends on participating retailers and limited stock. This wiki does not link to resale or comparison sites.
Story and challenge unlocks
The six-chapter campaign includes secondary challenges and collectibles that can unlock executions, gameplay scenarios, lore, multiplayer cosmetics, and looks inspired by the original film.
Michael also has progressive skin challenges. Developer Q&A material describes challenge chains with multiple steps, account rewards, tints, and unlocks tied to playing a specific character or weapon.
We have not verified the complete cosmetic catalogue for the current version. Unannounced masks or outfits from later Halloween films should not be presented as confirmed just because fans request them.
Civilian customization
Legacy Civilians have default multiplayer outfits, and story challenges can unlock alternate costumes and cosmetic items. IllFonic has also confirmed customization for Civilian hair, eyewear, makeup, and blemishes.
Richard and Alexis are Deluxe playable characters, not cosmetics. The Final Girl Laurie Strode item in Digital Deluxe is a cosmetic with advance access, not a separate Laurie character slot.
Clown and Scorched through Prestige
Middi’s September 13 video, 38:24–38:49, reports earning Clown after a Profile Prestige challenge and returning to Profile level 1. Arctik’s September 14 introduction describes Scorched as the reward after reaching Michael level 50 and completing his Prestige challenge.
These are creator-reported unlocks, not a complete current-build cosmetic test. Follow the Prestige guide to distinguish the two tracks, costs and reset questions before starting.
Cosmetic details still unknown
The complete reward and tint catalogue, every challenge requirement, and all cosmetic-combination rules have not been verified here. The edition table uses official announcements; the Prestige section identifies its separate video evidence.
